YOU WILL LEARN...

Why good therapy can still be difficult for a neurodivergent child to access even when you are doing everything you were trained to do.
Look beyond the behaviour you can see to understand what the child's responses may really be communicating.

Adapt your sessions to make the skills you already have more accessible, without learning another technique.

MEET YOUR LIVE TRAINING HOST
Amy Dalwood-Fairbanks
Amy Dalwood-Fairbanks is a paediatric clinical hypnotherapist, former primary school teacher and a specialist in neurodiversity-informed therapeutic practice.
Drawing on her experience in education, safeguarding, paediatric hypnotherapy and 18 years of lived experience within a neurodivergent family, Amy helps professionals better understand, accommodate and communicate with neurodivergent children and young people.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO BECOME A DIFFERENT THERAPIST
You need a clearer way to understand what is happening when a neurodivergent child cannot comfortably engage with therapy as it is currently being delivered.
This live training will introduce you to a different way of seeing the child, the session and your role within it, so you can make thoughtful adaptations while continuing to work within your existing modality and professional scope.
